Every ticket bought with a card on this site puts 1p into the Kind Spirits Fund. Not just winning tickets. Every ticket, every competition, every day.

Tickets paid for with wallet credit do not add to the fund — that credit is money we have already paid out as a prize. They go into every draw exactly the same way.

We put £25 in at the start of every fortnight, then it grows on its own as tickets sell. Every other Monday, at our live draw, the whole lot goes out — all of it, however big or small it has grown.

It goes to a person or a family, not an organisation. Someone having a rough year, someone who has had bad news, or simply somebody who deserves a lift.

Any player can nominate anyone, for anything. If you have bought tickets here in the last 30 days you can nominate a neighbour, a friend, a workmate — or yourself. George and Sunny read every one and pick somebody every fortnight.

The Kind Spirits Fund is not a charity and is not collected for the benefit of any particular charity. 1p from every ticket bought with a card on this site is added to it; tickets paid for with wallet credit do not add to it, because that credit has already been paid out by us as a prize. The whole balance is paid at the end of each fortnight to an individual or family chosen by us from the nominations we receive. Nominations are open to customers who have bought tickets here in the previous 30 days. Payments are gifts from Spooky Competitions Ltd, not charitable donations.

Separately, and before this fund existed, we gave £679.40 of our own money to good causes including Myton Hospice, Bedworth RFC and Dogs Trust. Those gifts were not funded by ticket sales and are not connected to the fund above.

The Player Bonus Pot

Every ticket bought with a card puts 1p into the Player Bonus Pot. Tickets paid for with wallet credit do not add to it — that credit is money we have already paid out as a prize — but they still enter the weekly draw exactly the same way.

We put £20 in at the start of each week, then it grows as tickets sell.

Every ticket you buy from Monday to Sunday puts you in that week's draw. One player is picked at random at the following Monday's live draw, and the whole pot lands in their wallet.

Play any competition during the week and you are in — automatically, and free. Not the biggest spender: one entry each, so a 25p ticket has exactly the same chance as a £50 order.
